Overview:
- Marble Falls to Bertram via FM-1431 and FM-1174
- Bertram to Burnet via FM-1174 and FM-963
- Burnet along Buchanan Lake via FM-2341 and FM-690
- Buchanan Lake to Marble Falls through Longhorn Cavern Park

Description:
Starting on Marble Falls (intersection of US-281 and 10th St.) head east on 10th St (which becomes FM-1431) for 12 miles. The road has gentle rolling curves through the hill country. After 12 miles turn left on to FM-1174. FM-1174 runs through farm lands with some turns. Continue until FM-1174 runs into TX-29 and turn left into Bertram. Go around a third of a mile and turn right, continuing to follow FM-1174. Continue following FM-1174. After a quarter mile FM-1174 turns to the left (straight becomes FM-243) continuing on FM-1174. After 9 miles, FM-1174 runs into FM_963 and then turn left toward Burnet. As you come into Burnet FM-963 merges with FM-200 and they end at US-281. Turn left on US-281 and for about half a mile, turning on TX-29. Continue on TX-29 for 3 miles and turn right on FM-2341 as you head toward Buchanan Lake.
After 4½ miles, turn left onto FM-114 (Little Midland -Dorbandt Rd) which becomes FM-960 heading back to TX029, as it winds along side Buchanan Lake. After about 8 miles, FM-960 runs into TX-29. Turn left and go just under 1 mile and turn right onto Park Road 4. Park road 4 has some nice twists and turns as it rolls long side Inks Lake, which runs out of Buchanan Lake. There are several places to stop in Inks Lake State Park if you want to take a break.
Park Road 4 continues to wind along some nice scenery. After about 7 miles, Park Road 4 veers left (straight becomes FM-2342) and continues through the park and ends at US-281 after 8 miles. Turn left onto US-281 and this takes you right back into Marble Falls and the starting point.
